  • I was specifically responsible for Buffer Preparation, Cell Separation and UFTCF Operations, Column Chromatography and Aseptic Bulking operations.
  • Duties further included collaboration with various departments in the validation of sterile bulk tanks, Ultra filters, Buffer solutions and Purification processes. I also helped in the development of BPR´s and SOP´s for these processes.
  • By this time I was promoted to Process Development Scientist (Area Supervisor).
  • Supplied Purified UFTCF to support Phase III Clinical and subsequent commercial sale.
  • I was also instrumental in hiring and training all staff (including supervisors) to qualified status during which time the operation transitioned into a twenty four hour – seven day a week operation.
  • Duties also included, scheduling equipment maintenance, trouble shooting, interacting with vendors and engineers and assuring that operations were performed in compliance to cGMP and 21CFR standards and insuring that production schedules were maintained.
